The title "The Blind Man No.3" refers to the art magazine "The Blind Man" which was edited in New York in 1917 by Marcel Duchamp and Man Ray. Only two editions were printed, one in April and one in May of that same year.
For a one man show at Ryllega Gallery, Hanoi, Viet Nam, www.nonprofitgallery.com/main/asia/vietnam/hanoi/ryllega.html I designed a guard’s uniform. I hired a blind person to wear the uniform and to take care of the gallery. The gallery was empty. The guard was the artwork, its guard and its explainer.
